Born in 2011, Keeping the Peas is about the culinary odyssey of keeping a vegetarian and a meat-lover happy, healthy, and sane.

Don’t be fooled by our matching aprons—we’re amateurs. We’re short on funds, equipment, and counter space. But we love to discover fresh recipes, new takes on bad-for-you dishes, and ideas to appease our wildly divergent palates.
